Common Misconceptions
I was speaking to a few clients and hadn't realized the misconceptions that are out there concerning Real Estate. So here are a few things ... If you have any more questions please leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer... Thanks!!
MYTH: You can only show your listings
TRUTH: We can show any listings that are listed on the MLS site, it doesn't matter what Real Estate company they are listed with.
MYTH: If you don't sell your house it still costs you money.
TRUTH: If I don't sell your house, the cost to you is $0. This means, that when you list your house with me you get; a sign put in your yard (if you choose), advertising on our Royal LePage website, advertising in the Real Estate guide, free home staging consultation, property featured on the MLS site, a spot on my website, which includes - your login to your property, to see how many times that it was viewed. As well you are able to add comments that are visible or not. So yes, I do get a commission if I do sell your house, but I will work for it!! If I don't sell your house there is no cost to you, you just get all this advertising for free. There are other websites that are claiming to sell your self and pay your self, these can cost up to $1700 and that's just for a sign. If it doesn't sell it still cost you $1700.
